Photo selling explained.

Fotki selling is a great tool for photographers to establish printing business or automate order placing process. Fotki takes cares of your customers. We take orders, process them and deliver to your client. Also we provide great customer support for both yourself and your customers. All you need to do is to keep your customers coming.


Start selling.

  • 1. Enable selling on your account. Click Go To >> Selling and follow set up steps. You can use this direct link: http://selling.fotki.com
  • 2. Go to any album and click “Set Custom Prices” link in the menu on your left.
  • 3. Fill in empty price tags with your own price. If you want to avoid selling some particular print size, you can leave the price tag blank and this size won’t be listed.
  • 4. Now your album is set up for selling and you can start earning real money.

Pricing options. You can set custom prices on all levels: folder level (all albums under the folder will inherit pricing of the parent folder), album level and individual photo level. So the custom pricing tools are very flexible and depending on your personal preferences you can set single pricing scheme for entire account or enable selling only for some albums/folders or even for just individual pictures.

Selling digital photos. You can also offer your photos on a CD in digital format. All you need to do is to set up “File on CD disk” price tag.





Disable selling. To disable selling for some album, just go to “Set Custom Prices” page, erase all custom price tags and save changes.


How to get paid? You can withdraw your selling balance anytime (trusted members). We offer 3 balance transfer options: PayPal, Check by mail and Bank transfer. You can request your balance right on your “Selling” page: http://money.fotki.com/request_payment/


Note. To avoid fraudulent activity all new members will need to wait 40 days before they will be able to withdraw their balance. We can reset this restriction for your account after request, but you need to establish credible sales activity before this can be done.

Fotki commission. Fotki gets 15% off your custom price minus cost of printing. Here is an example: You set 1$ price tag for 4×6 print, then we have 1$-$0.15(cost of printing)=$0.85-$0.12(Fotki commission 15%) = $0.73 is your balance.
