New York Institute of Photography (NYIP)

“NYIP is the largest and oldest photography school in the world”.

NYIP teaches photography to thousands of correspondence students. The teaching process involved significant amount of mail correspondence, including audio cassettes sent by instructors to the students with criticisms of their photo assignments. NYIP needed a comprehensive Web portal for student posting of photos, complete with an audio application for audio notes.

Fotki developed the NYIP Student Portal, a Website enabling remote education through posting of photos online, and audio and written comments posted by instructors. As the next stage, Fotki will develop a completely white-labeled NYIP-branded solution for students to print their photos and create photo products, as well as to use the site in their professional work – offering photo prints and photo products for sale to their clients.
